Event: The city of Lisbon has issued a Red Alert due to weather conditions as a result of flooding around the region. The Lisbon city council and Civil Protection have encouraged everyone to stay home for their safety, and the following roads are currently closed due to flooding:
Tunnels Campo Pequeno + 2 Campo Grande + Av Joao XXI + Av. Berlin;
Eixo Norte-Sul;
2nd circular – Direction Lisboa Norte;
Radial de Benfica;
Av. Infante D. Henrique next to the Russian Baptist Tunnel;
Av of. Berna;
Av. Calouste Gulbenkian;
All access to Praça de Espanha; |
Av. Ceuta, Alfredo Bensaúde, Peneda Road;
Alcântara (several locations);
Crossing Gago Coutinho with USA;
Radial de Benfica;
Square of 7 rivers;
Avenue of St. Contestable;
Av. July 24 to Bethlehem;
Av. Ceuta next to the access to the bridge April 25.
