The meeting, organized by the Portuguese Association of Law Firms (ASAP) and held on June 8 at Centro Cultural de Belém, in Lisbon, covered measures such as the creation of conditions to avoid conflicts of interest when representing clients, the availability of mechanisms that allow lawyers to work in a free and autonomous way, the availability of specific committees on knowledge, communication and international relations management are all related to good governance practices.

Economist Vitor Bento and U.S. Ambassador to Portugal Robert Sherman participated in this event, as guest speakers.
