Assistant Secretary Nuland Traveled to Lisbon

(Photo: US Embassy Lisbon)On April 27, Assistant Secretary Victoria Nuland traveled to Lisbon, where she met with senior Portuguese government officials to discuss the range of issues on the bilateral agenda and with parliamentarians.

Victoria Nuland joined a panel discussion at the Portuguese Catholic University on Women in Leadership, Young Entrepreneurs, Youth Unemployment and the Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership. Also presenting was Isabel Vaz, CEO of Espirito Santo Saude. Fulbright and Voluntary Visitor program alumna Isabel Gil, the Vice Rector opened the event, which featured public made up mostly of young students.

Victoria Nuland was interviewed by SIC’s Nuno Rogeiro on the Ukraine crisis, as well as U.S.-Portuguese relations. Watch the video.
