The Embassy is pleased to announce that consular staff will be in Funchal, Madeira on April 6, 2017, to provide consular services and host a Town Hall for U.S. citizens to meet with the community and discuss crisis preparedness.
Services that can be provided (by appointment only) during the visit include:
- U.S. passport services
- Consular reports of birth abroad
- Notary services
If you would like to make an appointment for a consular service or receive the details about the Town Hall, please contact us by sending an e-mail to email@example.com. In the e-mail, please tell us which services you are interested receiving and provide your full name and contact information, including an e-mail address and a phone number. We will respond with an appointment time and information about the Town Hall.

We encourage U.S. citizens living or traveling abroad to enroll in the Department of State’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP). By enrolling, U.S. citizens make it easier for the U.S. Embassy or Consulate to contact them in case of emergency.
