
The U.S. Embassy in Lisbon supported the visit of Prof. David G. Drubin, Department of Molecular and Cell Biology, University of California at Berkeley, to participate in the “1st Small Meeting on Endocytic Trafficking and Signaling – SMETS1”, jointly hosted by the University of Minho and the International Iberian Nanotechnology Laboratory.
As part of his visit to Portugal, Dr. Drubin also gave talks on “Genome editing of human stem cells for studies of intracellular trafficking” at the Technical Institute (IST) and the University of Aveiro, and met with professors and researchers at Nova University’s Faculty of Science and Technology.
