On May 13 a group of thirty one undergraduate students from University of Colorado, Boulder visited the U.S. Embassy in Lisbon. The university chose the city of Lisbon to give students the opportunity to learn more about the different realities of international business, as well as debate the trade dynamics and exchanges between Portugal and the United States of America. The students were also very interested in understanding the role of Portuguese economy in the international market. As part of the visit, the students participated in a discussion about the Embassy’s goals and insight on trade led by representatives from the Foreign Commercial Service and the Economic Section.
