In association with the American Corner network and other partners, American Embassy Lisbon organized a speaking tour across Portugal for the Mars curiosity mission flight engineer, Bobak Ferdowsi, reaching out to hundreds of high school/ secondary students, researchers and the media in the Azores, Lisbon, Aveiro, Porto and Braga.
At every stop of his tour, Bobak engaged with audiences about his own life story, as well as the Curiosity mission, the planet Mars, and what NASA’s future plans are for exploring our solar system and beyond.
