On March 21, 2018 the Public Affairs Officer, Todd Miyahira and Fulbright Educational Adviser, Dorian Rosca, spoke to a group of 11th and 12th graders at Padre António Macedo secondary school, in Sines area, about Multiculturalism in the USA and how to study in the U.S. Mr. Miyahira also highlighted that March is Women History Month and discussed the importance of Women in today’s society. The topic Study in the USA motivated the students to learn about U.S. universities and the life on campus, the opportunities offered by the Fulbright, such as the Competitive College Club program, and a number of J-1 visa programs that offer opportunities for young people to work in the U.S.
